Luau Party invitations. I handmade them for someone. I used decorative cardstock, and cut a Hawaiian skirt into pieces the same length as the cardstock (they might have been about 5x7). Printed out the party information on a plain piece of cardstock and glued it down. I hot glued ribbon at the top to hold the grass skirt "stuff" down, and hot glued a flower on the edge. Easy peasy.
Everyone keeps telling me to start a blog just because I make cute things.
Well, I can't really take the credit for all of them. I use my cricut, and brainstorm a lot. I also use ideas that I've seen other people do and try to change them a little bit. Here is a box I made. I got the file from a wonderful lady named Celina who sells her files on etsy. Will probably end up making these as teacher gifts for my children's teachers for Christmas......

Lifesavers Halloween Costume
I got the idea for this costume from another blog that I saw. My son is small, so I was able to use a pillowcase. I cut it up the seam, and cut it to 21 inches long.
I laid it flat, and used colored duct tape in rows. Made a twisted circle of duct tape, laid it at the top of the costume, folded the top of the pillowcase over it, and secured it with duct tape (kind of like a cheesefilled crust pizza). I used silver duct tape for the straps, and cut the word LIFESAVERS as well as the blue shadow with my cricut. Voila! I might have spent about $20.
